In 1960 our founder, then Assistant Director of "Help for Retarded Children", participated in a pilot project
for placing in gainful employment people with downs syndrome. The project succeeded marvelously and
over the next two decades spread throughout the free world. For old times sake we always try to include
retarded children in our current projects. Ana Tere is a natural champion for them.
